Joe Biden was born on 20 November 1942 and grew up in the blue-collar city of Scranton in Northeast Pennsylvania.
The age of Joe Biden is 78 year as of 2020. His father’s name was Joseph Biden Sr and he worked as a car salesman and cleaning furnaces. His mother’s name was Catherine Eugenia “Jean” Finnegan.
He went to St. Paul’s Elementary School in Scranton. When Biden was 13 years old, his family was transferred to Mayfield, Delaware that was a rapidly growing middle-class community and dependent on the nearby DuPont chemical factory.
He struggled a lot with a stutter. Some kids laughed at him and called him “Dash” and “Joe Impedimenta“ He did a lot of hard work and overcame his speech by memorizing long passages of poetry and speaking them out in a loud voice by standing in front of a mirror.
He went to St. Helena School until he didn’t get accepted into the prestigious Archmere Academy.
He worked so hard to help his family afford tuition that’s why he started washing school windows and seeding the garden.
Biden went to the University of Delaware, where he started to study history, political science and played football.
